Umbra is being designed to place the planets and the deep sky in their real directions for where and when you are — with your actual surroundings still in view, and enhancements such as enlargement clearly identified as enhancements.

The design

A classic silhouette, with the sky in mind.

The Umbra concept pairs a familiar wayfarer-style frame with two small cameras at the bridge and a slim rear tether. The emblem sits on the temple; inside the arm, the emblem and the Umbra name.

Umbra is part of the Reality Modulation framework. Dimensions, materials, optics, battery life, weight and price are not final, so we don’t list them.
