Development status

AstroGest and Umbra are in development. Descriptions on this site explain intended behavior and design direction. Features, design, specifications, finishes and availability may change, and some may never be released.

Concept imagery

Images on this site are concept visualizations, illustrations and product concept renderings. They are not photographs of a finished product or recordings through working glasses, and they are labelled accordingly.

The interactive demo

The pointing demo is an illustration of an intended interaction. It is not live sky tracking and does not identify real objects in your sky.

Free reservations of interest

  • A reservation is free and records your interest in Umbra. No payment or deposit is taken.
  • It is not an order or a contract of sale, and it does not reserve inventory, fix a price or guarantee a delivery date.
  • A preferred finish is a preference only; it does not commit us to manufacturing that finish.
  • You can ask us to delete your reservation at any time via the contact form.

Partner and investor inquiries

The partners page invites conversation. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, and nothing here is a projection of financial returns. Please don’t send confidential information through the inquiry form.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the site: no automated bulk submissions, attempts to disrupt the service, or submissions on someone else’s behalf without their permission.

Names and content

AstroGest, Umbra, Reality Modulation, their logos and the content of this site belong to Reality Modulation LLC. Please don’t reuse them in a way that suggests endorsement.

Safety

Never look at the Sun with Umbra or any eyewear or optical device not specifically certified for solar viewing.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is. Astronomical facts in the demo are simplified for illustration. To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for losses arising from your use of the site.

We may update these terms; the version above will change when we do.
