Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to explore AstroGest. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site has not been independently audited or certified.

What we’ve built in

  • Every page and form can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, with errors announced and linked to their fields.
  • Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast against the dark background.
  • The site respects your “reduce motion” setting: scroll reveals, card transitions and hero depth are turned off.
  • The pointing demo never requires holding: each target has a direct “Identify” button, and holds can be cancelled.
  • Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative art is hidden from screen readers.
  • Layouts adapt from small phones to large screens and remain usable at 200% zoom.
  • No autoplaying sound or video, and no flashing content.

Known limitations

  • The decorative starfield in the demo is purely visual; its targets and information are available as buttons and text.
  • Some concept artwork contains fine visual detail that alt text can only summarise.
